Robertson Bros. Engineering Limited has been established in Haddington since 1914. During this time a high degree of engineering and fabrication skill has been developed. The business was founded by Adam Robertson back in 1914 and when his son was born, Jake Robertson successfully took on the company in his later years. In 1949 Alan Robertson son of Jake was born and at the age of 15 he joined the family business, he developed the business and skill within the workplace and went on to achieve many relationships with established companies within the malting and distilling industries. In 2019, Alans daughter Sophie joined the company to work along side Alan. Sadly in 2022 Alan passed away suddenly, this came to a huge shock to the company and colleagues, however since Alans passing Sophie has continued to run the company which still remains a success to this day.
