Removal and installation of 52 radiators across 5 floors and pipework for silo block at malting plant, including installation of new 2" Pipework with flanged connections implementing butterfly valves to allow isolation of pipework if necessary, all of this pipework was installed by TIG welding in position which was an incredibly tight squeeze and an awkward job to carry out preventing any leaks occurring.
Manufacture of new frames for the installation of FIKE explosion panels to elevators in silo block for Malting Plant.
Removal of PVC 8" Pipework and replaced with 8" Stainless Steel pipework implementing a manufactured weir box with a 4" Vent for effluent system at malting plant allowing the effluent to recirculate at ground level.
Installation of Aluminium Tread Plates cut to the shape of the copper stills for our local distillery
Installation of primary and secondary pumps for our local malting company for the boiler house.
Re-plating steep tank for barley which holds 169 tonnes. We rolled 6mm plate to size along with flat bar to the diameter of the tank and welded on to the tank by MIG. We also used a swell mastic sealant which swells by 200% in reaction with moisture between the outside wall of the tank and the new plate. We used flat bar which we welded to the plate along with gusset plates and anchored this down to the concrete already in place to secure. After completion we used a grout to seal up the anchors and flat bar. This job was a huge success.
Manufacture and site fit of new handrailing, kick plates and winch for new rescue point for a pit which is classed as a 'confined space', We tested the winch at ground level to 500kg this was implemented for anyone requiring being rescued and allowing a safe rescue point.
Manufacture and installation of a platform to hold up 'Reko Screen' as part of the effluent system at a Malting Plant up North. We installed and commissioned Stainless Steel and PVC pipework, this project was a great success.
This project involved the removal of a 10mm warped boiler plate, we cut out the damaged area of plate and replaced with a 10mm rolled boiler plate welded in by our coded welders.
